CMU Tech Technical Certificates
This program prepares students to be effective, efficient, entry-level professionals. Students develop skills in supervision, the basics of human resources, and how to work with others in a business environment. The Management Foundations curriculum prepares the student to be an effective staff member in business, government or non-profit organizations. Students learn the importance of human behavior in organizations, how to supervise employees and basic human resource practices.
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS FOR TECHNICAL CERTIFICATE IN MANAGEMENT FOUNDATIONSThe ECE program is designed to prepare students to work with young children (birth to age eight in a variety of settings. This certificate is designed for students wishing to work as lead teachers in a childcare classroom. Students who wish to work in licensed early childhood care and education programs may complete the sequence of courses for the Teacher certificate and then continue to earn an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. The Teacher certificate enables students to meet the educational qualifications established by the Colorado Department of Human Services.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS FOR PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
The graduate certificate in Rhetoric and Literary Studies prepares those who already have a BA in English and need advanced expertise to teach composition and literature at a higher education institution. The program also allows students to explore particular fields in greater depth, test aptitude for graduate school, and even take steps towards an MA in English or education.
The program focuses on key expertise that forms a well-rounded teacher in an English program:

The curriculum invites a deep examination of the texts, contexts, and theories of language, literature, and writing. CMU Undergraduate
The RN-BSN nursing program enrolls Registered Nurses with current RN licenses from associate degree and diploma programs to the baccalaureate program with advanced standing. The RN may complete the professional component of the program by attending college full-time or part-time online. The RN to BSN program offers an accelerated model of instruction. Courses will be offered in an 8-week online format.
The Bachelor of Science in Sport Management serves students in their chosen profession so they will be better prepared to enter the world of sport business or pursue a graduate degree. Opportunities for college graduates with sport management education and experience are very diverse and challenging.

BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION: HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
CMU Graduate
The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program prepares baccalaureate-prepared nurses for roles as nurse practitioners (family [FNP], adult-gerontology [AGNP]), and nurse educators (NE) in healthcare or academic settings. MSN graduates formulate clinical, administrative, or policy decisions to promote health among patients, families, or communities along the continuum of wellness and illness. Graduates may advance to higher levels of nursing education including Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Doctor of Education (EdD), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs. Students choose one of three cognates as their substantive area of study: FNP, AGNP, or NE. The courses are delivered via an online format, allowing students to reside in their home communities. However, students may be required to travel for completion of clinical hours or for GPSI sessions. Students in the MSN FNP cognate are required to complete a minimum of 700 direct care clinical hours. Students in the MSN AGNP cognate are required to complete a minimum of 600 direct care clinical hours. Students in the NE cognate are required to complete a minimum of 250 clinical hours, 90 of which must be in direct care. Clinical rotations vary based on MSN cognate but may include academic settings, and inpatient, long-term care, community-based, and primary care clinical sites.
CMU anticipates the launch of this degree program beginning in January of 2019 pending Higher Learning Commission (HLC) approval. The Online Masters of Science in Sport Management provides specialized education in sport management for those individuals interested in professional management or administrative opportunities in professional sports, interscholastic and intercollegiate athletics administration, sports facilities, sports media, and sports marketing and management agencies.

The Colorado Mesa University Master of Business Administration degree is a challenging program designed to prepare graduates for the ever-changing business world. The degree is awarded after the successful completion of 36 semester hours of rigorous study and a business-related practicum project.
Students will acquire knowledge of management operations; an appreciation of the interrelationships involved in business; an understanding of the economic, political and social environment in which businesses function; accounting and financial practices; and leadership behavioral skills that are essential in a manager's role in the implementation of business decisions.

The Criminal Justice Leadership and Policy program is a graduate academic program offered in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences, leading to a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Leadership and Policy (MACJLP) degree.
Criminal Justice practitioners and scholars are highly qualified, multi-skilled public safety professionals who collaborate with other entities in the American criminal justice system as well as the general public to prevent and control crime, ensure due process, rehabilitate convicted offenders, and implement evidence-based practices.
The MACJLP program is a six term (including summers) academic program. Admission into the program is competitive. The MACJLP program ensures the highest quality of education by offering collective learning experiences that emphasize leadership, policy, and administration, which enable students to pursue numerous career paths and promotional advancement within the criminal justice field. Graduates of the MACJLP program are well positioned to secure employment and promotional opportunities in policing, the courts system, corrections, or continuing graduate studies.
